What comes to our mind when we say Christ? An image? A film? A painting? A number of representations that all together give form and truth to this reality we call Christ? And if so, how could we manage to represent something that is itself nothing but a chain of representations? What is the “real” in this case? And even, Is it possible that what we consider “reality” also be nothing but a chain of representations? The image of Christ, when put on stage, does nothing but deconstruct itself, and this piece, as our creative process, does nothing more than provoke, observe and participate in this deconstruction.
CRISTO is the result of a year’s investigation. The first stage took place in Amsterdam, Netherlands and finalized with the presentation of the work in progress “It’s Never the Last Supper”.
